Home of the Homeschoolers' Book Club and Sylvia Anderle, an award-winning children's librarian (really!). Bring quarters for the meters, and read the street signs carefully -- because it's located so near the college, parking is rather restricted.

The Fairview Branch hosts the children's chess club every Thursday from 3:30 to 6:00. This is an open-house rather than set-time event. All levels and ages are welcome.

As well as hosting story times for babies, two year olds, and three to five year olds, the Fairview Branch has a toddler story time in Spanish. They also have lots of craft activities and music events. Call or check the web site for dates and times.
