The Ocean Park Branch is a very child-friendly library and the home of the wonderful children's librarian and puppeteer Mr. Jesse. They have story times for babies on Thursday mornings and two year olds on Tuesday mornings, as well as an ongoing Preschool Twilight Story Time on Wednesday evenings at seven o'clock. They also offer stories in Spanish and English for two to five year olds on Wednesday mornings -- check the site for specific dates and times. And they host a youth and family chess club every week -- Wednesdays from 3:30 to 6:00, all levels and ages welcome.
