Fifth Thursday: Clover Park

A few blocks east of the Fairview branch of the library. Big parking lot, big park. The biggest on the rotation, in fact. Lots to do, but not a lot of shade -- bring hats. Home of the famous exercise trail and the "control tower" climbing structure. Basketball hoops. Lots of play equipment -- swings, tire swing, seesaws, slides; also huge grassy areas, big enough that the kids could easily play a game of soccer or softball.
